When scheduling any hair color service online, it must be followed by either a haircut appointment or a blow dry style. If this is not done, your appointment may be cancelled and we may have to reschedule your hair color service. Please call 847.683.0000 if you have any questions or problems booking online.  

When booking online via the online chat option,  Instagram or other social media platform, please be sure to provide a cell phone number for text reminders about your upcoming appointments.  Note that some services will require a deposit to secure the appointment.

Cancellation of an appointment for any service should be done over the phone with more than 48-hours notice. If an appointment is missed without the appropriate cancellation timeframe, for the first occurrence, we will require a 50% deposit for all future appointments, paid at the time you schedule. If an appointment is missed without the appropriate cancellation timeframe a second time, future appointments will not be scheduled until the missed appointment has been paid in full (a deposit will still be required at the time of booking to schedule a future appointment). We love our guests.  And we understand that life happens, and emergencies arise.  Our policy is in place to protect and respect our stylist’s time and livelihoods, and to keep sought-after appointment times open if necessary for other guests to be able to schedule.   Exceptions can be made to our cancellation policy should it be warranted.

By opting into messages, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing and informational text messages from Shine. Salon & Dry Bar for Shine Salon & Dry Bar. Automated messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system to the mobile telephone number you provided when signing up or any other number that you designate.

Message frequency varies, and additional mobile messages may be sent periodically based on your interaction with Shine Salon & Dry Bar. Shine. Salon & Dry Bar reserves the right to alter the frequency of messages sent at any time to increase or decrease the total number of sent messages. Shine. Salon & Dry Bar also reserves the right to change the short code or phone number where messages are sent.

You can cancel any time by texting "STOP". After you send the SMS message "STOP", we will send you a message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed and no more messages will be sent. If you would like to receive messages from Shine. Salon & Dry Bar again, just sign up as you did the first time and Shine. Salon & Dry Bar will start sending messages to you again.

You agree that before changing your mobile number or transferring your mobile number to another individual, you will either reply “STOP” from the original number or notify us of your old number at Lauren@shinesalon.net. The duty to inform us based on the above events is a condition of using this service to receive messages.

We reserve the right to change or terminate our messaging program at any time. We also reserve the right to update these Messaging Terms at any time. At Shine Salon & Drybar, every service begins with a personalized consultation because we truly want you to love your hair. Building a relationship with a new stylist is a collaborative process, and sometimes small refinements are part of achieving the perfect result.

Because our services are customized and performed specifically for you, we do not offer refunds on completed services.

However, your happiness matters to us. If you feel your hair needs a slight adjustment, please contact us within 14 days of your appointment. We are happy to provide a complimentary refinement within that time frame.

To ensure the best outcome:

   •    Adjustments are performed by your original stylist, who understands the details of your service.

   •    If you prefer not to see the original stylist, our salon manager, or another stylist who can better handle your specific service, is available to step in.

   •    Adjustment appointments are intended to fine-tune the original agreed-upon look, not to create a completely new service.

We believe great hair is built on communication, trust, and collaboration. If something doesn’t feel quite right, please let us know — we’re here to make it right within our policy guidelines.
